Recently I started filming the places because I believe a video is the new old photo books. Resuming everything to 2-3 minutes brings you all the memories back, while it is challenging to cut so many nice shots!

Istanbul

A city full of history and culture, at the clash of the two continents, Europe and Asia. There are great things to do and see, like Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Spices Bazaar or many other markets, squares, busy streets or viewpoints. A must do in Istanbul is a boat trip on the Bosphorus strait, a chance to see the differences between the two sides of the city.

 

Patagonia

Weather in Patagonia has its own personality. It can be sunny, windy, rainy or snowy in the same hour… several times. The video features a trip from Punta Arenas to Isla Magdalena, to visit Monumento Natural Los Pingüinos. Then, a road trip to Puerto Natales and further, to Torres del Paine National Park. Beautiful landscape, wilderness and strong winds, guanacos and amazing mountains and lakes. Not to miss the views of Torres del Paine and Cerro Paine Grande, Mirador Salto Grande and small island of Hosteria Pehoe. End your tour with a rewarding trip to Lago Grey and Glacier Grey, best seen from Mirador Lago Grey. Beware the changing weather and strong winds! The video was made on November 2017.

US West coast road trip

A wonderful road trip, after my visiting scholar stage at UC Berkeley. Yosemite, Kings Canyon, Death Valley, Joshua Tree, Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks offer unlimited possibilities to enjoy the beauty of nature. Of course, you have to check also the cities in between these parks. The video was made on August 2017.
